New from Golf Australia, login to view handicaps
Posted: 31st August 2018 in Golf Management, MiClub Golf
As of Tuesday 4th September 2018, all members need to login to view their handicap history. Golf Australia have implemented a new player login process to increase communication and provide better support for golf clubs and members. All members will need to visit the Golf Australia website and register to create a new user login. When a member clicks to view their handicap history in the MiClub member portal, they will be directed to a Golf Australia registration page where they can create a new login. Once registered, members will need to remain logged in to view their handicap history directly from the members portal.
To avoid confusion, it is important to advise your members how to register with Golf Australia to view their handicap information and history. Here are some other key points you should communicate to members registering with Golf Australia:
- Players do not need an email address to register, alternatively a phone number can be used.
- Anyone can register to use the handicapping service on www.golf.org.au (not just club members).
- Registered players can opt-out of any direct marketing from Golf Australia.
- Players can remain logged-in to Golf Australia to avoid entering a password every time handicaps are viewed.
- Golf Australia’s privacy policy can be viewed at www.golf.org.au/privacypolicy
